Avely now offers a wallet business card and a widget picker with category tabs. Kasbu shipped its wallet pass in March 2026 and its tabbed Apps menu in April 2026. Here are the dates and sources, side by side.

This autumn Avely added two things Kasbu users will recognise: a business card for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and a widget picker with a search bar, category tabs and app-style icons. Kasbu has had both for months.

We are not going to tell you what to make of that. Below are the dates we could verify, where each one comes from, and the screenshots side by side. Where something can't be dated, we say so.

How we dated each feature

On 19 September 2026 Kasbu renamed the card menu to Apps. The tabs stayed the same, with Stickers added at the end.

The wallet pass

Every Kasbu page comes with a Kasbu Card: your photo, your name, your plan, the month you joined and a QR code to your page. You add it from Settings with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, on the free plan. Since July 2026 the pass can also show notifications, such as your profile views for the month.

Avely's Business Card also goes into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. One scan opens your Avely page, and the person scanning can save your contact and leave theirs. On 5 September 2026 none of this appeared anywhere on Avely's homepage. The sample pass in Avely's own promo shows a member-since date of 9 September 2026.

What the two passes share: a QR code to the page, a photo, a name, the plan and a member-since date, in both wallets. To be fair, those are common fields on membership passes, and wallet business cards existed long before either of us. Blinq, the app Avely compares itself with, is one of them.

What Avely does that Kasbu does not: the contact exchange. On Kasbu the pass shares your page, but it doesn't collect the other person's details.

The widget picker

Kasbu's Apps menu opens from the dock in the editor. Since 22 April 2026 it has had a search button, category tabs and a grid of app-style icons with the name underneath.

Avely's picker has the same structure: a search bar on top, category chips below it and rounded square icons with the name underneath.

Five of Avely's six tabs have a direct match in Kasbu's menu.

What we can't tell you is when Avely's picker got its tabs. It sits inside the editor, behind a login, and no archive has a copy. What we can see is the widget list it draws from. On 11 June 2026 Avely had no music widgets at all. Spotify and Apple Music show up by 5 September and SoundCloud after that. So whenever Avely's picker got its tabs, its Music tab had nothing to show before mid-June 2026. Kasbu's Music tab has held Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer and SoundCloud since April.

What the dates show, and what they don't

Dates show order. They don't show intent, and we are not claiming any. Tabs and app icons are a familiar pattern from phone app stores, and wallet business cards are a product category of their own. Avely also builds things Kasbu doesn't have, like AI forms, the contact exchange and UTM tracking. Our Kasbu vs Avely comparison covers prices, plans and speed.

Here is what the dates do support. Kasbu's wallet pass was open to everyone at least six months before Avely's Business Card appeared, and people were already using it. For the tabbed picker, we can only vouch for our own date, April 2026.

If you'd like to see both features where they started, you can create a Kasbu page for free, open Apps from the dock and find your Kasbu Card in Settings.
